Joy

Joy

“Work with Joy…Live with Joy…Dream form your Heart…Share what you have…Care deeply…Be thankful always”

I am pondering how many of  us live a life in Joy, or as if we are some kind of robotic mechanism enslaves us, a victim of the modern ego-centric culture we are living in. Slaves or victims to what?  A culture built on isolation, dog eat dog, and the big dog gets it all,bottom-line, profit and greed? A life of some sense of survival, knowing if you do not get our bills paid in time, they will cut you off. This is our current culture, the mega-corporations, whether it be PG&E, water utilities, garbage, mortgage or rent due to the landlord, not to mention Obama’s drone attack on USA citizens without due cause.

Do we not need to find our life purpose, a place where we belong? indeed, my dear ones, let us reclaim our souls and our original purpose for being here, as short as it is. Dream from your heart, share what you have, and care deeply for humanity.

Serenity

Serenity

“Let nothing that happens today, or has happened before, discourage you about tomorrow”

How often I have gotten caught in the trap of today’s drama, yesterday’s crisis, or unwanted situation and have gotten spun around, internally disheveled. My nervous system goes on high alert, blood pressure rises, restless sleep, and internal chaos prevails. Over the years, things have changed. I have changed. I have chosen to live in peace and joy to the best of my ability, regardless of what is happening around me. I have learned to hold the current crisis situations in a different way, a healthier way. I have learned how to trust the unfolding of life and each and everyones journey. I have learned how to surrender to those things I can not change and focus on what it is I can do. Sounds like AA! Yep. It is their primary prayer and is powerful and I use it often.

“God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I can not change, courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.”

I want to thank those of you who use this prayer as a way to heal yourself. Let us all use this prayer this week and witness how life changes for you.
